I think the ethics ruling is correct, that when somebody faces litigation, it's tantamount to a liability, and if an individual can have an influence on an outcome of a case, certainly that's an advantage they have that an ordinary Canadian doesn't.
Je pense que la décision d'éthique est correcte et que, si quelqu'un fait l'objet de poursuites, c'est équivalent à une responsabilité civile. Si un individu peut influer sur le règlement d'une cause, c'est manifestement un avantage que ne possède pas le citoyen ordinaire.
