Appreciates the repeated statements of Baroness Catherine Ashton, the High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the Commission, in support of the electoral process in Côte d'Ivoire, the election of Mr. Ouattara as Head of State and salutes, in particular, her statement on 3 March 2011 in which she firmly condemned the killings of innocent civilians by forces loyal to Laurent Gbagbo, which opened fire on a peaceful pro-President-elect Ouattara's demonstration in Abidjan;
8. apprécie les déclarations répétées de Catherine Ashton, haute représentante de l'Union pour les affaires étrangères et la politique de sécurité et vice-présidente de la Commission, en soutien au processus électoral en Côte d'Ivoire et à l'élection de M. Ouattara comme chef de l'État et salue, en particulier, sa déclaration du 3 mars 2011 dans laquelle elle condamne fermement le meurtre de civils innocents par les forces loyales à Laurent Gbagbo, qui ont ouvert le feu sur une manifestation pacifique à Abidjan en faveur du président élu Ouattara;
