Notes that the employment situation in the region is difficult as the unemployment rates soared by 309% compared to the pre-crisis year 2007 and that the region already applied for the EGF support and is implementing coordinated packages in the textile, ceramic and natural stone sectors (Applications EGF/2009/0014 ES/Comunidad Valenciana; EGF/2010/005 ES/Comunidad Valenciana and EGF/2010/009 ES/Comunidad Valenciana )

Congratulates Communidad Valenciana on the capacity to apply for and use EGF to address problems of its labour market characterised by a high percentage of SMEs; in this context recalls that Valenciana region has already applied for the EGF support on five instances for textile, ceramic and natural stone as well as construction sector (applications: EGF/2009/0014, EGF/2010/005 and EGF/2010/009, EGF/2011/006 and EGF/2013/004);
4. félicite la Comunidad Valenciana pour sa capacité à solliciter et à utiliser l'aide du FEM pour s'attaquer aux problèmes touchant son marché de l'emploi, qui se caractérise par un fort pourcentage de PME; rappelle, à cet égard, que la région de Valence a déjà sollicité l'aide du FEM à cinq reprises pour les secteurs du textile, de la céramique, de la pierre naturelle et de la construction (demandes EGF/2009/0014, EGF/2010/005 et EGF/2010/009, EGF/2011/006 et EGF/2013/004);

7. relève qu'à ce jour, le secteur de la fabrication de textiles a fait l'objet de onze demandes d'intervention du Fonds , toutes fondées sur la mondialisation des échanges, tandis que la Comunidad Valenciana a déjà sollicité à six reprises l'aide du Fonds: en septembre 2009 (céramique), en mars 2010 (pierre naturelle), en mars 2010 (textiles), en juillet et en décembre 2011 (construction et chaussure, respectivement) et en 2013 (matériaux de construction);
