STRIDE(1) 460 million Ecu from ERDF and ESF (1990-93)(2) The aim of STRIDE is to strengthen the capacity for innovation and technological development in Objective 1 regions, where a serious lack of facilities and investment has been identified compared with Community averages; and to improve participation by research centres and institutes and firms in those regions in Community and international research programmes and networks.
