About two years ago it became obvious to the federal highway administration that everybody is out there building all these ITS systems, but somewhere down the road the focus was to be able to drive from the west coast to the east coast, from the southern border to the northern border and across the continent and be able to use your single system, so that when you leave one location it works throughout the entire country.
