After an in-depth investigation the European Commission has imposed a fine of € 38 838 000 on Slovak Telekom a.s. and its parent company, Deutsche Telekom AG, for having pursued during more than five years an abusive strategy to shut out competitors from the Slovak market for broadband services, in breach of EU antitrust rules.
Au terme d'une enquête approfondie, la Commission européenne a infligé une amende de 38 838 000 euros à Slovak Telekom a.s. et à sa société mère, Deutsche Telekom AG, pour avoir mené, pendant plus de cinq ans, une politique abusive visant à évincer des concurrents du marché slovaque des services à haut débit, et ce en violation des règles de concurrence de l’UE.

Brussels, 08 May 2012 - The European Commission has informed Slovak Telekom a.s (ST) and its parent company, Deutsche Telekom AG, of its objections against their behaviour on several wholesale broadband markets in Slovakia.
