(7) Subsections (1) and (3) do not apply in respect of any temporary restraint of a young person under the supervision and control of a peace officer after arrest, but a young person who is so restrained shall be transferred to a place of temporary detention referred to in subsection (1) as soon as is practicable, and in no case later than the first reasonable opportunity after the appearance of the young person before a youth justice court judge or a justice under section 503 of the Criminal Code.
(7) Les paragraphes (1) et (3) ne s’appliquent pas au cas où un adolescent se trouve temporairement sous la surveillance d’un agent de la paix après son arrestation, mais l’adolescent doit être transféré dans les meilleurs délais possible en un lieu de détention provisoire visé au paragraphe (1); ce transfèrement doit s’effectuer au plus tard à la première occasion raisonnable suivant la comparution de l’adolescent devant un juge du tribunal pour adolescents ou un juge de paix en application de l’article 503 du Code criminel.
