This Committee, which was set up in December 1990 under the chairmanship of Mr Onno Ruding, met twelve times and submitted its report to the Commission on 18 March 1992.2 The communication adopted today sets out the Commission's initial reactions to the Committee's conclusions and recommendations in the light of its internal work and that carried out by international organizations and certain Member States.
Ce comité, créé en décembre 1990, sous la présidence de M. Onno Ruding, s'est réuni douze fois et à remis son rapport à la Commission le 18 mars 1992 (2). La communication adoptée aujourd'hui présente les premières réactions de la Commission aux conclusions et recommandations formulées par le Comité à la lumière de ses travaux internes ainsi que des réflexions réalisées par des enceintes internationales et par certains Etats membres.
