Welcomes the Commission’s approach presented in the Employment package – Towards a job rich recovery – acknowledging the need for a changeover to a green, resource efficient economy and applauds the long-requested change of policy towards job creation; calls on the Commission to follow up on the key employment actions and to promote a mainstreaming of green employment into national job plans and to encourage investment in the field of resource efficiency and renewable energy;
11. se félicite de l'approche que la Commission adopte dans le paquet "Emploi" – Vers une reprise génératrice d'emplois – reconnaissant la nécessité du passage à une économie verte et efficace dans l'utilisation des ressources, et salue l'inflexion, réclamée de longue date, en faveur de la création d'emplois; invite la Commission à donner suite aux grandes actions en faveur de l'emploi, à défendre la prise en compte des emplois verts dans les plans nationaux pour l'emploi et à encourager les investissements dans les domaines de l'utilisation efficace des ressources et des énergies renouvelables;

2. Stresses that the employment situation of young people is highly dependent on the overall economic situation; welcomes the Commission Communication entitled ‘Towards a job-rich recovery’ and urges Heads of State or Government in the EU to present as soon as possible a European Investment Plan boosting inclusive, sustainable and job-rich growth;
