In some countries that have proportional representation, and unlike our country, which has first past the post, if the government of the day does not support the minority that a member represents or where the member is from, it takes that level of 3% or 4% and raises it to 10%. I am speaking specifically of Turkey, where this upcoming weekend there will be an election.
