In my opinion, the long-awaited negotiations on the Mediterranean island are not a cause for celebration, because the most recent Turkish Cypriot proposal goes against the existing consensus on some points, which means that it actually represents a step backwards.
Il déploie par contre ses ambassadeurs pour demander aux grands États membres de l’Union européenne de résoudre le problème chypriote. Je pense qu’il n’y a pas lieu de se réjouir des négociations tant attendues concernant cette île de la Méditerranée, parce que les dernières propositions turques sont contraires au consensus existant sur certains points - ce qui signifie qu’elles représentent en fait un pas en arrière.
