e to the hope for a just peace in a region that has been bruised by occupation and war for several generations

Dans cet esprit, parmi toutes les initiatives souhaitables de la part du Président du Parlement, la plus emblématique serait à mes yeux, au lendemain de l’accord quasi inespéré dit de La Mecque, par lequel le Hamas tout entier s’engage à respecter les résolutions internationales et les accords signés par l’OLP avec Israël, d’appeler solennellement l’Union à lever le blocus imposé au gouvernement palestinien et à redonner une chance à l’espoir d’une paix juste dans une région meurtrie par l’occupation et la guerre depuis plusieurs générations.
