Finally, the effects conferred by the European patent with unitary effect shall not extend to the use of the patented invention on board vessels, aircrafts or land vehicles of countries other than participating Member States, when such vessels, aircrafts or vehicles temporarily or accidentally enter the waters of participating Member States and to the use by a farmer of protected livestock for farming purposes, on condition that the breeding animals or other animal reproductive material was sold or otherwise commercialised to the farmer by the patent proprietor or with his consent.

(20) An Enhanced partnership between the European Patent Office and central industrial property offices of the Member States should enable the European Patent Office to make regular use, where appropriate, of the result of any search carried out by central industrial property offices on a national patent application the priority of which is claimed in a subsequent European patent application.

2. In the event of a dispute relating to a European patent with unitary effect, the patent proprietor shall provide in the course of legal proceedings, at the request of a court competent in the participating Member States for disputes concerning European patents with unitary effect, a full translation of the patent into the language used in the proceedings of that court.

En cas de litige concernant un brevet européen à effet unitaire, le titulaire du brevet fournit, au cours de la procédure et à la demande d'une juridiction compétente dans les États membres participants pour les litiges concernant des brevets européens à effet unitaire, une traduction intégrale du brevet dans la langue de procédure de cette juridiction.

The patent proprietor should also be required to provide, at the request of a court competent in the participating Member States for disputes concerning the European patent with unitary effect, a full translation of the patent into the language used in the proceedings of that court.
