For us, as nurses in the group, and of course we have alliances with people in computer engineering and software engineering at the Polytechnique Montréal, it was important to offer virtual nursing intervention as a tool that supplements a real consultation with a nurse, which is done in the care setting when the person visits the hospital, or in another setting, three or four times a year.
Pour nous, comme infirmières du groupe — on a bien sûr des alliances avec des gens en génie informatique et génie logiciel de Polytechnique Montréal —, il était important d'offrir une intervention infirmière virtuelle comme un outil complémentaire à une vraie consultation avec une infirmière, qui se réalise dans le milieu de soins lors de la visite de la personne, trois ou quatre fois par année, à l'hôpital ou dans un autre milieu.
