Multiple-entry visas with the term of validity of a minimum of two years and a maximum of five years will be issued to the categories of visa applicants referred to in Article 5(2) of the Agreement, provided that during the previous two years (24 months) they have made use of the two one year multiple-entry visas in accordance with the laws on entry and stay in the territory(ies) of the visited State(s) and that the reasons for requesting a multiple-entry visa are still valid.

The facilitations provided by the Agreement apply both to uniform visas valid for the entire territory of the Member States and to visas with limited territorial validity.

13. Validity of the invitation to tender: This invitation to tender shall be valid only to the extent that no EEA carrier (EEA carrier means a Community air carrier or an air carrier with a valid operating license granted by an EFTA State, party to the EEA Agreement, in accordance with the Act referred to in point 66b in Annex XIII of the EEA Agreement (Council Regulation (EEC) No 2407/92 on licensing of air carriers)) informs the Ministry of Communications, 4 weeks or more before the intended entry of force of the contract, that it will commence scheduled flights according to the public service obligations on any of the air routes without requiring any financial support or market protection.
13. Validité de l'appel d'offres: Le présent appel d'offres n'est valable que pour autant qu'aucun transporteur de l'EEE (par transporteur de l'EEE, on entend un transporteur aérien de la Communauté titulaire d'une licence d'exploitation valable délivrée par un pays de l'AELE partie à l'accord EEE, conformément à l'acte visé au point 66b de l'annexe XIII de l'accord EEE [règlement (CEE) no 2407/92 du Conseil concernant les licences des transporteurs aériens]) n'informe le Ministère des communications, quatre semaines au moins avant l'entrée en vigueur du contrat, de son intention de commencer à exploiter des vols réguliers, conformément aux obligations de service public imposées aux liaisons aériennes, sans demander ni soutien financier ni protection du marché.

(b) the prohibition to challenge after completion of the research and development the validity of intellectual property rights which the parties hold in the common market and which are relevant to the research and development or, after the expiry of the research and development agreement, the validity of intellectual property rights which the parties hold in the common market and which protect the results of the research and development, without prejudice to the possibilty to provide for termination of the research and development agreement in the event of one of the parties challenging the validity of such intellectual property rights;

Whereas, in view of the exceptional nature of agreements needed in order to reduce disturbances resulting from the structure of the transport market, once the Council has found that a state of crisis exists undertakings wishing to obtain authorisation for such an agreement should be required to notify it to the Commission ; whereas authorisation by the Commission should have effect only from the date when it is decided to grant it ; whereas the period of validity of such authorisation should not exceed three years from the finding of a state of crisis by the Council ; whereas renewal of the decision should depend upon renewal of the finding of a state of crisis by the Council ; whereas, in any event, the authorisation should cease to be valid not later than six months from the bringing into operation by the Council of appropriate measures to ensure the stability of the transport market to which the agreement relates;
considérant qu'en raison du caractère exceptionnel des accords rendus nécessaires pour réduire les perturbations découlant de la structure du marché de transport, en cas de crise constatée par le Conseil, il convient de soumettre les entreprises désirant obtenir l'autorisation d'un tel accord à l'obligation de le notifier à la Commission ; qu'il convient que l'autorisation de la Commission ne prenne effet qu'à compter de la date de son adoption, que la validité d'une telle autorisation ne dépasse pas trois ans à compter de la constatation de l'état de crise par le Conseil et que le renouvellement de la décision soit subordonné à un renouvellement de la constatation de l'état de crise par le Conseil ; qu'en tout cas l'autorisation doit cesser d'être valable au plus tard six mois après que le Conseil aura mis en application les mesures appropriées à assurer la stabilité du marché de transport concerné par l'accord;
