- (DE) Madame la Présidente, Madame la Commissaire, nous avons entendu tout à l’heure la présidence britannique du Conseil émettre quelques déclarations tout à fait dignes d’un homme d’État à propos des exigences de la politique étrangère et accompagner ces déclarations de divers calculs assortis de chiffres virtuels. Néanmoins, en ce qui concerne le compromis issu des négociations et dont il nous faut malheureusement débattre aujourd’hui, je rejoins entièrement les propos tenus par M. Garriga Polledo en sa qualité de rapporteur sur le budget rectificatif, à savoir que ce compromis est en complète contradiction non seulement avec cette pose d’homme d’État, mais aussi, par exemple, avec la réponse à cette catastrophe majeure annoncée par les conclusions du Conseil du 7 janvier de cette année.
