The fifth information and dialogue meeting with European civil society organisations and networks to discuss the work of the European Convention will be held on 15 November at 9.30 a.m. at the EESC building, 2 rue Ravenstein, 1000 Brussels, in the presence of the Convention's vice-chairman, Jean-Luc Dehaene.
La 5ème rencontre d'information et de dialogue sur les travaux de la Convention européenne avec les organisations et réseaux européens de la société civile se tiendra le 15 novembre à 9 heures 30 au siège du CESE, rue Ravenstein, 2 à 1000 Bruxelles, en présence de M. It brought together around 150 representatives of a very broad cross-section of civil society, ranging from socio-occupational organisations to voluntary bodies, NGOs active in the social, environmental, human rights, educational and cultural sectors and religious bodies. Convention vice-chairman Jean-Luc Dehaene and European Commissioner Michel Barnier, member of the Convention Praesidium, both attended the meeting.
