Following the suspension of operations of the Zambian flag carrier Zambian Airways in January 2009 and the publication by ICAO of a significant safety concern in February 2009 after the USOAP Audit visit regarding aircraft operations, certification and supervision exercised by the Civil Aviation Authority of Zambia, the Commission requested information from these authorities in April 2009 to verify the implementation of corrective actions to redress this concern.
À la suite de la suspension des activités de la compagnie nationale zambienne Zambian Airways en janvier 2009 et de l’annonce par l’OACI d’un grave problème de sécurité en février 2009, après l’audit USOAP concernant l’exploitation des aéronefs, la certification et la surveillance exercée par l’autorité de l’aviation civile de la Zambie, la Commission a demandé, en avril 2009, des informations à ces autorités afin de vérifier la mise en œuvre de mesures destinées à remédier au problème.
