Indeed, the creation of high-performance data communications services and innovatory applications which benefit both the national and the Community administrations will eventually produce: - a spin-off effect on the market which will favour the development of similar services on a Community scale to the advantage of the commercial operators. This, in turn, should help to ensure the profitability of the investments initially authorized both by the suppliers of the equipment and by the telecommunications operators; - positive consequences for the Community research programmes dedicated to the development of a new generation of enhanced-performance networks (ISDN, wideband).
En effet, la création de services télématiques performants et d'applications novatrices, au profit des administrations nationales et communautaire, va se traduire à terme : - par des effets induits sur le marché, permettant le développement de services similaires à l'échelle communautaire au profit des opérateurs commerciaux, ce qui devrait contribuer à la rentabilisation des investissements initialement consentis aussi bien par les fournisseurs d'équipements que par les opérateurs de télécommunications; - par des conséquences positives sur les programmes communautaires de recherche qui sont consacrés au développement d'une nouvelle génération plus performante
