IN-CONTEXT TRANSLATIONS

Past experience has shown that, in the context of the EU-Korea FTA, the consistency and quality of the dialogue between the EU and Korea have been significantly improved thanks to better coordination of the activities of the EU DAG and the EU institutions, as well as coordination between them and other international organisations such as the ILO and the OECD. The EESC recommends that the working methods developed through this inter-institutional cooperation be used in the next period, including by developing new partnerships for relevant activities and projects.
L’expérience acquise par le passé montre que dans le contexte de l’accord de libre-échange entre l’Union européenne et la Corée, une meilleure coordination entre les activités du GCI de l’Union européenne et des institutions européennes, ainsi qu’entre ces activités et celles d’autres organisations internationales, telles que l’organisation internationale du travail (OIT) et l’Organisation de coopération et de développement économiques (OCDE), a permis de renforcer considérablement la cohérence et la qualité du dialogue entre l’Union européenne et la Corée. Le CESE recommande d’utiliser, au cours de la période à venir, les méthodes de travail élaborées grâce à cette coopération interinstitutionnelle, notamment en mettant en place de nouveaux partenariats dans le cadre d’activités et de projets pertinents.

Calls on the EDA’s participating Member States to add to the work and initiatives to be presented by the VP/HR in her capacity as head of the Agency and urges the VP/HR to establish working methods improving the capacity of the participating Member States to take responsibility as decision-makers, and consistent with the intergovernmental nature of the Agency and the provisions of the Treaty, the idea being to build a political consensus;

38. rappelle ses compétences dans la procédure budgétaire de l'Union européenne et insiste sur l'importance pour l'APEM d'exercer dès à présent des responsabilités plus importantes en assumant un rôle de consultation et de contrôle démocratique quant à la définition des axes de travail, au suivi régulier des projets engagés et à l'exécution budgétaire; invite les différentes commissions compétentes de l'APEM à procéder à l'audition régulière du secrétaire général et des secrétaires généraux adjoints; estime que cette responsabilisation devra toutefois aller de pair avec une amélioration du fonctionnement et des méthodes de travail de l'APEM, incluant l'octroi des moyens humains et financiers nécessaires ainsi qu'un meilleur alignement du travail de l'APEM sur celui des autres institutions de l'UpM; se félicite des décisions adoptées en ce sens lors de la 6 session plénière de l'APEM tenue à Amman les 13 et 14 mars 2010;

Improving its working methods, including the method for drawing up any new action plans, will imply inter alia greater involvement by the third countries concerned on the basis of genuine partnership and greater coordination and cooperation with Member States and international governmental and non-governmental organisations active in these countries.

Minerva is aimed at teachers and students from schools and universities, but also from the world of the multimedia industry, ICT and the civil society, in order to carry out projects aimed at: improving the understanding of innovation, designing new teaching methods, communicating project results and promoting the exchange of experience with regard to ODL and ICT.
Minerva s'adresse aux enseignants et étudiants, issus du monde scolaire et universitaire, mais également du monde de l'industrie du multimédia, des TIC et de la société civile, afin de réaliser des projets visant : à mieux comprendre l'innovation, à concevoir de nouvelles méthodes pédagogiques, à communiquer les résultats des projets et à favoriser l'échange d'expériences relatives à l'EOD et aux TIC.

The experience or the knowledge gained in the projects, increased knowledge of a study area, improved working practice, improved teaching and management skills, greater awareness of other cultures and EU institutions, new curricula, together with a more innovative culture in the institutions remained after the projects finished.
Une fois les projets terminés, il en est resté l’expérience ou le savoir acquis lors de leur réalisation, une meilleure connaissance d’un domaine d’études, de meilleures méthodes de travail, un meilleur enseignement et de meilleures capacités de gestion, une connaissance plus approfondie d’autres cultures et établissements de l’UE, de nouveaux programmes d’études, ainsi qu’une culture plus novatrice dans les établissements.
