I hope Canadians watching these debates will take special notice of what the government is trying to pull on us here, because this is a very important debate which has tremendous ramifications for Canadian workers, for the bargaining units that represent them, for business and job creators and therefore for the well-being of our society, particularly for the democratic rights and freedoms which we thought we enjoyed in this country and which the Liberals are substantially attacking with this terrible piece of legislation.
