With regard to the ongoing negotiations on a worldwide Exequatur Convention aimed at covering similar areas as the Brussels and Lugano Conventions at an international level, Commissioner Gradin informed the Council that her Institution had approved a recommendation for a Council decision regarding these negotiations, in order to achieve a common Community approach and to ensure that they would not conflict with Community provisions in this area.
En ce qui concerne les négociations en cours sur une convention mondiale d'exequatur destinée à couvrir les mêmes domaines que les conventions de Bruxelles et de Lugano au niveau international, Mme Gradin, Commissaire, a annoncé que la Commission avait approuvé une recommandation de décision du Conseil relative à ces négociations, en vue de dégager une approche communautaire commune et de s'assurer qu'il n'y ait pas de contradiction avec les dispositions communautaires en la matière.
