Daarom stelt de rapporteur voor drie amendementen op het gemeenschappelijk standpunt in te dienen, namelijk met betrekking tot rustpauzes tijdens werkzaamheden waarvoor het gebruik van persoonlijke ademhalingsapparatuur is vereist, de vaststelling van wat sporadische asbestblootstelling met een geringe intensiteit is, alsmede bepalingen betreffende adequate sancties ingeval van overtredingen van de nationale wetgeving die gebaseerd is op deze richtlijn.
