However, the requirements of this Regulation shall continue to apply to clinical or commercial pathology laboratories which do not have health care (i.e. care and treatment of patients) or the promotion of public health as their primary purpose.

In the case of health care and psychological care, the rapporteur considers that it is not justified to operate a distinction in terms of the type of treatment applied, and considers that all applicants for asylum should have access to primary health care.
De rapporteur is van mening dat op grond van het type procedure dat wordt gevolgd, geen onderscheid mag worden gemaakt waar het medische en psychologische verzorging betreft en dat alle asielzoekers toegang zouden moeten hebben tot de eerstelijnsgezondheidszorg.
