With respect to the nomenclature of the herbal preparation, the binomial scientific name of plant (genus, species, variety and author), and chemotype (where applicable), the parts of the plants, the definition of the herbal preparation, the ratio of the herbal substance to the herbal preparation, the extraction solvent(s), the other names (synonyms mentioned in other Pharmacopoeias) and the laboratory code shall be provided.
In de rubriek betreffende de nomenclatuur van het kruidenpreparaat worden de binominale wetenschappelijke naam van de plant (geslacht, soort, variëteit en auteur) en (in voorkomend geval) het chemotype vermeld, alsook de delen van de planten, de definitie van het kruidenpreparaat, de verhouding kruidensubstantie/kruidenpreparaat, de extractiemiddelen, de overige namen (synoniemen die in andere farmacopees zijn vermeld) en de laboratoriumcode.
