This consistency shall be checked in particular with regard to the specifications of the rolling stock subsystem and the compatibility with the network (Section 4.2), its interfaces in relation to the other subsystems of the rail system in which it is integrated (Sections 4.2 and 4.3), as well as the initial operating and maintenance rules (Sections 4.4 and 4.5) as requested by Article 18(3) of Directive 2008/57/EC.
