Letter of amendment No 1 follows the Commission proposals and provides in particular for an adjustment of the breakdown of EAGGF Guarantee appropriations, changes in nomenclature and additions of useful comments in order to take account of the Agriculture Council decisions of 24 July 1996 as regards: - the reform in the fruit and vegetables sector, by inserting heading B1- 1502 (Operational fund for producer organizations) for which ECU 97,8 million is allocated, heading B1-1504 (Specific measures) to finance aid to hazelnut producers for which ECU 11,7 million is allocated and heading B1-1517 (Specific measures) to finance aid to asparagus producers for which ECU 4,9 million is allocated; - agricultural prices and related measures for the 1996/1997 marketing year resulting in an additional cost of ECU 2 million; - the estimated figure for the production of olive oil for the 1995/1996 marketing year and the amount of production aid which will require additional expenditure totalling ECU 127 million.
