Among the projects introduced by the Member States and already approved by the Fund are several railway infrastructure projects, as e. g. the electrification of the line Pireus-Athens-Thessaloniki (Cohesion Fund contribution: 152.7 MECU) or the improvement of the line Cork-Dublin (Cohesion Fund Contribution: 20.6 MECU).
Tot de door de Lid-Staten ingediende en door het Fonds reeds goedgekeurde projecten behoren een aantal projecten betreffende spoorweginfrastructuur zoals bij voorbeeld de elektrificatie van de lijn Piraeus-Athene- Thessaloniki (bijdrage van het Cohesiefonds : 152,7 miljoen ecu) of de verbetering van de verbinding Cork-Dublin (bijdrage van het Cohesiefonds : 20,6 miljten ecu).
