- het verslag (A6-0268/2009) van Pervenche Berès, namens de Commissie economische en monetaire zaken, over de instelling van een mechanisme voor financiële ondersteuning op middellange termijn van de betalingsbalansen van de lidstaten (COM(2009)0169 – C6-0134/2009 – 2009/0053(CNS)) en

The Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs calls on the Committee on Legal Affairs, as the committee responsible, to propose rejection of the Commission proposal and to ask for a general revision of the 4th and 7th Company Law Directives in 2010, which shall focus, in particular, on reducing the administrative burden and simplifying the financial reporting requirements of micro-entities.
De Commissie economische en monetaire zaken verzoekt de ten principale bevoegde Commissie juridische zaken voor te stellen om het voorstel van de Commissie te verwerpen en de Commissie te verzoeken om een algehele herziening in 2010 van de 4e en 7e Richtlijn inzake het vennootschapsrecht, waarbij de nadruk in het bijzonder moet worden gelegd op de vermindering van de administratieve lasten en de vereenvoudiging van de financiële rapporteringvereisten voor micro-entiteiten.

In May 2008, the Economic and Financial Affairs Council (Ecofin) invited the Commission to revise the Commission decisions on the establishment of the Level 3 Committees by giving to the Committees specific tasks to foster supervisory cooperation and convergence of their roles in assessing risks to financial stability, and Ecofin mentioned certain tasks that could be included (2).
In mei 2008 verzocht de ECOFIN-Raad de Commissie de commissiebesluiten tot instelling van Niveau-3 Comités te herzien door deze comités specifieke taken te geven ter verbetering van de samenwerking inzake het toezicht en van de convergentie van hun rol bij de risicobeoordeling inzake financiële stabiliteit. The Resolution of the European Parliament of 5 February 2002 on the implementation of financial services legislation also endorsed the Committee of Wise Men's report, on the basis of the solemn declaration made before the European Parliament the same day by the President of the Commission and the letter of 2 October 2001 addressed by the Internal Market Commissioner to the Chairman of the Parliament's Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs with regard to safeguards for the European Parliament's role in this process.
Ook in de resolutie van het Europees Parlement van 5 februari 2002 over de tenuitvoerlegging van de financiëledienstenwetgeving werd het verslag van het Comité van wijzen onderschreven, en wel op basis van de formele verklaring die op diezelfde dag door de voorzitter van de Commissie voor het Parlement werd afgelegd en de brief van het voor de interne markt bevoegde Commissielid van 2 oktober 2001 aan de voorzitter van de Economische en Monetaire Commissie van het Parlement met betrekking tot de garanties die het Europees Parlement zullen worden geboden wat betreft zijn rol in deze procedure.
