TRADUCTIONS EN CONTEXTE

24. Calls for particular efforts to improve the effectiveness of programmes concerning the conditions of minorities in applicant countries, in particular those of religious, ethnic, linguistic and cultural minorities; calls also for cooperation arrangements to be established with the European Commission against Racism and Intolerance (ECIR) and the European Monitoring Centre on Racism and Xenophobia with a view to combating the rise of such movements in Europe;
24. dringt aan op speciale inspanningen ter verbetering van de doeltreffendheid van programma's in verband met de omstandigheden van minderheden in kandidaat-landen, in het bijzonder van religieuze, etnische, taal- en culturele minderheden; vraagt eveneens dat er modaliteiten worden gevonden voor samenwerking met de Europese Commissie tegen racisme en onverdraagzaamheid (ECRO) en met het Europees Waarnemingscentrum voor racisme en vreemdelingenhaat, om de strijd aan te gaan tegen het steeds verder toenemen van deze verschijnselen in Europa;

20 October is the day of the inauguration of the European Centre for Industrial Relations (ECIR).
Op 20 oktober zal het Europees Centrum voor Arbeidsverhoudingen (CERI) worden ingewijd.

The aim of ECIR is to encourage the emergence of a European social relations culture, building on the richness and diversity of national situations and business practices.
Het doel van het CERI is de bevordering van de opkomst van een Europese cultuur van arbeidsverhoudingen, gebaseerd op de rijkdom en de verscheidenheid van de nationale situaties en de praktijken van de bedrijven.
