Financing of the programmes and projects shall be subject to compliance with the commitments contained in the EC-Turkey Association Agreement, Decision No 1/95 of the EC-Turkey Association Council of 22 December 1995 on implementing the final phase of the Customs Union(10) and all other related agreements and decisions, and the conditions laid down in Article 4 of Regulation (EC) No 390/2001, in the Accession Partnership with Turkey and in this Regulation.

Do Article 41(1) of the Additional Protocol of 23 November 1970 to the Agreement of 12 September 1963 establishing an Association between the European Economic Community and Turkey for the transitional stage of the Association (AP) and/or Article 13 of Decision No 1/80 of the EEC-Turkey Association Council of 19 September 1980 (Decision No 1/80) preclude a provision of national law which was introduced for the first time after the abovementioned provisions had come into force and which makes the first entry of a member of the family of a Turkish national who enjoys the legal status under Article 6 of Decision No 1/80 conditional on the requirement that, prior to entry, the family member can demonstrate the ability to make himself or herself understood, in a basic way, in the German language?

Decision No 2/2006 of the EC-Turkey Association Council of 17 October 2006 (7) approves a Community position in the EC-Turkey Association Council on the amendment to Protocols 1 and 2 to Decision 1/98 of the EC-Turkey Association Council on the trade regime for agricultural products.
Bij Besluit nr. 2/2006 (7) is het standpunt van de Gemeenschap goedgekeurd in de Associatieraad EG-Turkije over de wijziging van de protocollen nrs. 1 en 2 die aan Besluit nr. 1/98 van de Associatieraad EG-Turkije betreffende de handelsregeling voor landbouwproducten zijn gehecht.

Whereas Regulation (EEC) No 4115/86 (2) lays down the arrangements applicable to imports into the Community of agricultural products originating in Turkey on the basis of Decision No 1/80 of the EC-Turkey Association Council; whereas the provisions on agriculture of that Decision were repealed by Decision No 1/98 of the EC-Turkey Association Council; whereas, as a result, Regulation (EEC) No 4115/86 should be repealed;
Overwegende dat bij Verordening (EEG) nr. 4115/86 (2) op basis van Besluit nr. 1/80 van de Associatieraad EG-Turkije de regeling is vastgesteld die geldt bij invoer in de Gemeenschap van landbouwproducten van oorsprong uit Turkije; dat de bepalingen van dit besluit die betrekking hebben op de landbouw, zijn ingetrokken bij Besluit nr. 1/98 van de Associatieraad EG-Turkije; dat Verordening (EEG) nr. 4115/86 derhalve moet worden ingetrokken;

For the products listed in Annex II to the EC Treaty originating in Turkey and allowed for importation into the Community under the conditions laid down in Decision No 1/98 of the EC-Turkey Association Council, detailed rules for the application of the import regime shall be adopted in accordance with the procedure laid down in Article 38 of Regulation No 136/66/EEC of the Council of 22 September 1966 on the establishment of a common organisation of the market in oils and fats (4) or, where applicable, in the corresponding Articles of the other regulations on the common organisation of agricultural markets, without prejudice to Articles 6 and 7 of Regulation (EC) No 1981/94.
Voor de in bijlage II van het EG-Verdrag vermelde producten van oorsprong uit Turkije die in de Gemeenschap mogen worden ingevoerd op de voorwaarden die zijn bepaald bij Besluit nr. 1/98 van de Associatieraad EG-Turkije worden de bepalingen ter uitvoering van de bij invoer van deze producten geldende regeling vastgesteld volgens de procedure van artikel 38 van Verordening nr. 136/66/EEG van de Raad van 22 september 1966 houdende de totstandbrenging van een gemeenschappelijke ordening der markten in de sector oliën en vetten (4) of, in voorkomend geval, in de overeenkomstige artikelen van de andere verordeningen houdende een gemeenschappelijke ordening van landbouwmarkten, onverminderd het bepaalde in de artikelen 6 en 7 van Verordening (EG) nr. 1981/94.
