4. A Joint Consultative Committee, consisting of representatives of the Consultative Committee of the Central American Integration System (CC-SICA) and the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC), shall be established in order to assist the Joint Committee to promote dialogue with economic and social organizations of civil society.

Om het Gemengd Comité bij te staan wordt een Gemengd Raadgevend Comité ingesteld, bestaande uit vertegenwoordigers van het raadgevend comité van het Midden-Amerikaanse Integratiestelsel (SG-SICA) en het Europees Economisch en Sociaal Comité (EESC). Dit Gemengd Raadgevend Comité heeft tot taak de dialoog met economische en maatschappelijke organisaties van het maatschappelijk middenveld te stimuleren.

Calls on the Commission to continue its engagement and dialogue with Turkey on trade, particularly within the Joint Consultative Committee and the EC-Turkey Customs Union Joint Committee; encourages both sides to use these platforms more effectively, by rapidly resolving outstanding issues such as Turkey’s ban on imports of beef meat, live bovine animals and derivative products and some EU Member States’ road quotas applied to vehicles registered in Turkey;
3. verzoekt de Commissie haar betrokkenheid bij en dialoog met Turkije op het gebied van handel te continueren binnen het kader van het Gemengd Raadgevend Comité en het Gemengd Comité van de douane-unie EG-Turkije; moedigt beide partijen aan deze platforms op doeltreffendere wijze te benutten door openstaande geschillen, zoals Turkije´s verbod op de import van rundvlees, levende runderen en afgeleide producten, en de in bepaalde EU-lidstaten toegepaste wegquota voor in Turkije geregistreerde voertuigen, snel op te lossen;

Second, the Commission should continue its engagement and dialogue with Turkey in the field of trade, particularly in the framework of the Joint Consultative Committee and the Customs Union Joint Committee.
Ten tweede moet de Commissie haar betrokkenheid bij en dialoog met Turkije op het gebied van handel voortzetten, in het bijzonder in het kader van het Gemengd Raadgevend Comité en het Gemengd Comité van de douane-unie.

The joint consultative committees and contact groups shall draw up joint information reports and declarations, which may be forwarded by the Committee to the relevant institutions and to the actors concerned.

(6) In line with the earlier recommendation that the political and parliamentary dialogue should be extended to the social, business and trade union sectors and to the academic and scientific community, support should be given for the establishment of the Joint Consultative Committee provided for in Article 52 of the agreement to assist the Joint Committee in promoting dialogue with civil society; at the same time, in accordance with Article 43 of the Agreement, in which the parties recognise the role and potential contribution of organised civil society in the cooperation process and agree to promote effective dialogue with it, efforts shall be encouraged to devise formulas to enable civil society to take part in the framing of strategies for cooperation between the two regions.
6) In het licht van de aanbeveling de politieke en parlementaire dialoog uit te breiden tot de sociale sector, het bedrijfsleven en de vakbonden, en tot de academische en wetenschappelijke wereld, dient de instelling van het in artikel 52 van de overeenkomst bedoelde Gemengd Raadgevend Comité, dat de Commissie moet helpen de dialoog met de georganiseerde civiele samenleving te stimuleren, te worden gesteund, terwijl ernaar moet worden gestreefd, conform artikel 43 van de overeenkomst, waarin "de rol en de potentiële bijdrage van de georganiseerde civiele samenleving in het samenwerkingsproces" wordt erkend en wordt overeengekomen "een effectieve dialoog met de georganiseerde civiele samenleving te stimuleren", formules te definiëren om deze te betrekken bij het bepalen van de interregionale samenwerkingsstrategieën..

(5) Biregional relations need to be further developed on an ongoing basis and, therefore, diversified, with the increasing involvement of government and political figures, the two sides of industry, the cities and the regions, the arts world, universities and research centres and sectors representing civil society, with the establishment of the joint consultative committee provided for in Article 52 of the Agreement to assist the joint committee in promoting dialogue with civil society.
5) De biregionale betrekkingen dienen geleidelijk aan te worden geïntensiveerd en verrijkt, en dus ook te worden gediversifieerd, door er de regeringen en de politici, de sociale sector -bedrijfsleven en vakbonden-, de steden en de regio's, de wereld van de cultuur, de universiteiten en de onderzoekscentra, alsmede de representatieve sectoren van de civil society geleidelijk aan bij te betrekken. Daartoe dient het in artikel 52 van de overeenkomst bedoelde Gemengd Raadgevend Comité, dat de Commissie moet helpen de dialoog met de georganiseerde civiele samenleving te stimuleren, te worden opgericht.

Though the establishment of a consultative mechanism for dialogue between the regional and local authorities of the two Parties is not explicitly provided for in the aforementioned Europe Agreement, the Commission proposes that a Joint Consultative Committee representing the regional and local authorities of both parties be set up by the Association Council in support of the keen interest expressed, in this respect, by both sides, represented by the Committee of the Regions, of the part of the Community, and by the Slovak Liaison Committee for Co-operation with the Committee of the Regions of the European Communities, of the part of the Slovak Republic.
2. Hoewel bovengenoemde Europa-Overeenkomst niet expliciet voorziet in de instelling van een raadgevend mechanisme voor dialoog tussen de regionale en lokale autoriteiten van de twee partijen, stelt de Commissie voor dat de Associatieraad, met het oog op de grote belangstelling van beide partijen in dit opzicht, een Gemengd Raadgevend Comité opricht, waarin de Gemeenschap wordt vertegenwoordigd door het Comité van de Regio's, en Slowakije door het Slowaakse verbindingscomité voor de samenwerking met het Comité van de Regio's van de Europese Gemeenschappen.

Though the establishment of a consultative mechanism for dialogue between the regional and local authorities of the two Parties is not explicitly provided for in the aforementioned Europe Agreement, the Commission proposes that a Joint consultative committee representing the regional and local authorities of both parties be set up by the Association Council in support of the keen interest expressed, in this respect, by both sides, represented by the Committee of the Regions, on the part of the Community, and by the Bulgarian Liaison Committee for Co-operation with the Committee of the Region of the European Communities, on the part of the Republic of Bulgaria.
2.
