“EUTC” means the product coding system for tissues and cells developed by the Union consisting of a register of all types of tissues and cells circulating in the Union and their corresponding product codes.

De productcode bestaat uit de identificatiecode van het coderingssysteem voor producten die aangeeft welk coderingssysteem door de weefselinstelling wordt gehanteerd („E” voor EUTC, „A” voor ISBT128, „B” voor Eurocode) en het productnummer voor weefsels en cellen dat in het respectieve coderingssysteem voor de productsoort wordt gebruikt, zoals nader omschreven in bijlage VII bij deze richtlijn.

“EU Tissue and Cell Product Compendium” means the register of all types of tissues and cells circulating in the Union and the respective product codes under the three permitted coding systems (EUTC, ISBT128 and Eurocode);

3. The Commission shall update when needed the EUTC and ensure the overall update of the EU Tissue and Cell Product Compendium.
3. De Commissie zorgt in voorkomend geval voor actualisering van de EUTC en voor de gehele actualisering van het EU-compendium van weefsel- en celproducten.
