(b) In addition to the specified risk material listed in (a), the following tissues must be designated as specified risk material in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and in Portugal, with the exception of the Autonomous Region of the Azores: the entire head excluding the tongue, including the brain, eyes and trigeminal ganglia; the thymus, the spleen and the spinal cord of bovine animals aged over 6 months.
b) Behalve het onder a) vermelde gespecificeerde risicomateriaal moeten in het Verenigd Koninkrijk van Groot-Brittannië en Noord-Ierland, alsmede in Portugal, met uitzondering van de Autonome Regio van de Azoren, de onderstaande weefsels als gespecificeerd risicomateriaal worden aangewezen: de gehele kop, exclusief de tong, maar inclusief de hersenen, de ogen en de ganglia semilunaria; de zwezerik, de milt en het ruggenmerg van runderen van meer dan zes maanden.
