TRADUCTIONS EN CONTEXTE

24. Deplores the decision to put on hold the provisional application of the DCFTA until 31 December 2015 due to Russian’s threat to further block bilateral trade with Ukraine; stresses that the European Parliament ratified the Association Agreement on 26 October 2014 and that it should not be changed at the request of Russia, and calls on the Commission to discuss solutions to Russian concerns within the margin allowed by the Agreement as ratified; deplores Russia’s threat to introduce new sanctions against Ukraine if reforms linked to the alignment to the acquis communautaire go ahead; believes that the opportunity to advance economic integration with the Eurasian Economic Community should be weighed carefully, and that the EU and the Member States should in no way offer this prospect without Russia first making substantial progress on the Ukrainian crisis;
24. betreurt het besluit om de voorlopige toepassing van de vrijhandelsovereenkomst tot 31 december 2015 is opgeschort wegens het Russische dreigement de bilaterale handel met Oekraïne te blijven blokkeren; onderstreept dat het Europees Parlement de associatieovereenkomst op 26 oktober 2014 heeft geratificeerd en dat de eisen van Rusland daarin geen verandering kunnen brengen, en vraagt de Commissie om oplossingen voor de Russische bezwaren na te gaan binnen de marges die de overeenkomst in geratificeerde vorm toelaat; betreurt het dreigement van Rusland om nieuwe sancties tegen Oekraïne in te voeren als de hervormingen doorgaan die met de aansluiting aan het acquis communautaire zijn verbonden; gelooft dat de vraag of de economische integratie met de Euraziatische Economische Gemeenschap moet worden opgevoerd, zorgvuldig moet worden afgewogen, en dat de EU en de lidstaten hierop geen uitzicht mogen bieden zolang Rusland zich niet eerst in wezenlijke mate tegemoetkomend opstelt in de Oekraïense crisis;

Notes with interest that the Presidents of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan have signed an agreement for the establishment of a central integration body for the three countries, the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) on the 18 November 2011, a step in establishing the Common Economic Space (CES), known as well as the Eurasian Economic Union;
11. neemt met belangstelling kennis van het feit dat de presidenten van Rusland, Wit-Rusland en Kazachstan op 18 november 2011 een overeenkomst hebben ondertekend inzake de oprichting van een centraal lichaam voor integratie, de Euraziatische Economische Commissie, als een stap op weg naar de oprichting van een gemeenschappelijke economische ruimte, ofte wel de Euraziatische Economische Unie;

23. Stresses that relations of partnership and cooperation with Russia should be re‑established when Russia demonstrates compliance with international law, contributes actively and without ambiguities to a peaceful solution to the Ukrainian crisis, and fully respects the territorial integrity, independence and sovereignty of Ukraine, as well as of other countries of the Eastern Partnership and its neighbours; invites the new HR/VP to take a proactive role in facilitating dialogue between Ukraine and Russia, as well as the EU’s dialogue with Russia, and in promoting peaceful solutions to conflicts; believes, furthermore, that the Commission should explore the modalities of EU cooperation with the Eurasian Economic Union;
23. beklemtoont dat de relatie van partnerschap en samenwerking met Rusland hersteld moet worden zodra Rusland er blijk van geeft het internationaal recht te eerbiedigen, actief en ondubbelzinnig bijdraagt tot een vreedzame oplossing van de crisis in Oekraïne en de territoriale integriteit, onafhankelijkheid en soevereiniteit van Oekraïne, de andere landen van het oostelijk partnerschap en zijn buurlanden ten volle eerbiedigt; verzoekt de nieuwe hoge vertegenwoordiger / vicevoorzitter vooruitlopend daarop het pad te effenen voor de dialoog tussen Oekraïne en Rusland en die tussen de EU en Rusland, en vreedzame oplossingen voor conflicten te bevorderen; is daarnaast van oordeel dat de Commissie na moet gaan hoe samenwerking tussen de EU en de Euraziatische Economische Unie gestalte kan krijgen;

37.
