Will the Commission ensure that the report will address the ramifications of increasingly dominant commercial control over sport, in the light, in particular, of such developments as the proposal for a European Super League and the take-over of football clubs by media operators? Will the Commission also ensure that the Parliament is formally consulted on the report before it is presented at the Helsinki Council?
Kan de Commissie ervoor zorgen dat dit verslag zich zal bezighouden met de vertakkingen van een steeds dominanter wordende commerciële controle op de sport, met name in het licht van ontwikkelingen als het voorstel voor een Europese superliga en de overneming van voetbalclubs door mediabedrijvers, en kan zij er tevens op toezien dat het Parlement officieel inzake dit verslag wordt geraadpleegd, voordat het de Raad van Helsinki wordt voorgelegd?
