K. whereas Russia continues to violate the 2008 ceasefire agreement provisions, inter alia by persistent militarisation of Georgia’s occupied regions and adjacent areas, refusal to allow the European Union Monitoring Mission (EUMM) to monitor the security situation inside the occupied regions as provided under its mandate, and blocking access for international organisations and human rights monitoring mechanisms to the occupied regions;
K. overwegende dat Rusland de bepalingen van de staakt-het-vuren-overeenkomst uit 2008 blijft schenden, onder meer door de aanhoudende militarisering van de bezette Georgische regio´s en belendende gebieden, de weigering de waarnemersmissie van de Europese Unie (EUMM) toe te staan de veiligheidssituatie in de bezette gebieden te monitoren, zoals voorzien in haar mandaat, en door de toegang van internationale organisaties en monitoringmechanismen voor mensenrechten tot de bezette gebieden te blokkeren;

60. Calls on the VP/HR to intensify talks with Russia to assure the unconditional fulfilment and implementation of all the provisions of the six-point agreement of 2008 between Russia, the European Union and Georgia as well as to work towards an ultimate solution of this conflict which respects the territorial integrity of Georgia; takes the view that Russia should, in particular, guarantee full unlimited access of the European Union Monitoring Mission (EUMM) to Abkhazia and South Ossetia; underlines the necessity to provide stability in aforementioned Georgian regions;
60. verzoekt de VV/HV de gesprekken met Rusland te intensiveren teneinde de onvoorwaardelijke vervulling en tenuitvoerlegging te waarborgen van alle bepalingen van het zespuntenplan uit 2008 tussen Rusland, de Europese Unie en Georgië, en zich tevens in te zetten voor een definitieve oplossing van dit conflict waarbij de territoriale integriteit van Georgië wordt geëerbiedigd; is van mening dat Rusland in het bijzonder de Waarnemingsmissie van de Europese Unie (ECMM) in Abchazië en Zuid-Ossetië volledige, onbeperkte toegang moet garanderen; onderstreept de noodzaak om stabiliteit te brengen in de bovengenoemde regio's van Georgië;

At present, the European Union monitoring mission in Georgia is still the only international presence monitoring the situation in the country.
De EU-waarnemingsmissie in Georgië is op dit moment de enige internationale missie waarmee de toestand in dit land in de gaten wordt gehouden.
