invites the European Commission to consider how the EU-US economic interdependence operates at sectoral level (for instance in the 'agro-industry', automobile, aerospace, food and health, pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors and in the area of e-commerce) given the fact that a transatlantic market in a growing number of sectors already exists, having a huge impact on both domestic markets and job creation;
verzoekt de Europese Commissie na te gaan hoe de wederzijdse economische afhankelijkheid van Europese Unie en Verenigde Staten functioneert op sectorieel niveau (b.v. in de agro-industrie, de automobielsector, de ruimtevaartindustrie, de levensmiddelen- en gezondheidssector, de farmaceutische en biotechnologische sector en in de e-commerce), aangezien er in een toenemend aantal sectoren al een transatlantische markt bestaat die van zeer grote invloed is op zowel de binnenlandse markten als de werkgelegenheid;
