More specifically, the ECB is required to interact with national authorities and bodies, Union institutions, bodies, offices and agencies, relevant international organisations, supervisory authorities and administrations of third countries, in relation to: (a) the ESCB's support for the general economic policies of the Union pursuant to Article 127(1) of the Treaty; (b) the ESCB's contribution to the smooth conduct of policies pursued by the competent authorities relating to the prudential supervision of credit institutions and the stability of the financial system, pursuant to Article 127(5) of the Treaty; and (c) the tasks conferred on the ECB by Regulation (EU) No 1024/2013.

(2) The Committee has exercised all the functions hitherto assigned to the Short-term Economic Policy Committee set up by Council Decision of 9 March 1960 on coordination of the conjunctural policies of the Member States(2), the Budgetary Policy Committee set up by Council Decision of 8 May 1964 on cooperation between the competent government departments of Member States in the field of budgetary policy(3), and the Medium-term Economic Policy Committee set up by Council Decision of 15 April 1964 setting up a Medium-term Economic Policy Committee(4).

3. The Commission shall verify at regular intervals, in collaboration with the Economic and Financial Committee and in coordination with the IMF, that economic policies in Kosovo are in accordance with the objectives of this assistance and that the agreed economic policy and financial conditions are being satisfactorily fulfilled.
3. De Commissie onderzoekt periodiek, in samenwerking met het Economisch en Financieel Comité en in coördinatie met het IMF, of het economische beleid van Kosovo in overeenstemming is met de doelstellingen van deze bijstand en of aan het overeengekomen economische beleid en aan de financiële voorwaarden op bevredigende wijze wordt voldaan.
