4. The wine grape variety names and their synonyms listed in Part B of Annex XV to this Regulation, that partially contain a protected designation of origin or geographical indication and directly refers to the geographical element of the protected designation of origin or geographical indication in question, may only appear on the label of a product with protected designation of origin or geographical indication or geographical indication of a third country.
4. De in deel B van bijlage XV bij deze verordening opgenomen namen, en synoniemen daarvan, van wijndruivenrassen die gedeeltelijk bestaan uit een beschermde oorsprongsbenaming of geografische aanduiding en rechtstreeks verwijzen naar het geografische element van de betrokken beschermde oorsprongsbenaming of geografische aanduiding, mogen enkel worden vermeld op het etiket van een product met een beschermde oorsprongsbenaming, een beschermde geografische aanduiding of een geografische aanduiding van een derde land.

Member States shall not register non-identical geographical indications for protection under their respective legislation on geographical indications if a designation of origin or geographical indication is protected in the Community by virtue of the Community law relevant to designations of origin and geographical indications.
De lidstaten registreren geen niet-identieke geografische aanduidingen met het oog op bescherming uit hoofde van hun respectieve wetgeving inzake geografische aanduidingen, indien een oorsprongsbenaming of geografische aanduiding in de Gemeenschap is beschermd uit hoofde van de Gemeenschapswetgeving inzake oorsprongsbenamingen en geografische aanduidingen.

Wine produced from the grapes harvested in the Czech Republic territory, which are suitable for quality wine production in the specific region, or from the varieties which are introduced in the list of varieties in the implementing legal regulation, it can be labelled only with the geographical indication laid down by the implementing legal regulation; for producing the wine with geographical indication can be used only the grapes, of which the wine was produced, and whose reached the sugar content 14° NM at least and were harvested in the geographical unit, which bears the geographical indication according to this paragraph and complies with the requirements regarding to the quality laid down by the implementing legal regulation; use of the name of other geographical unit that which is introduced in the implementing legal regulation is banned.
Wijn die bereid is uit druiven die op het Tsjechische grondgebied zijn geoogst en voor de productie van kwaliteitswijn in het specifieke gebied geschikt zijn, of uit rassen die zijn opgenomen in de lijst van wijndruivenrassen welke in de uitvoeringsbepalingen is vastgesteld. Op het etiket van deze wijn mag alleen de geografische aanduiding worden aangebracht die in de uitvoeringsbepalingen is vastgesteld. Voor de productie van deze wijn met een geografische aanduiding mogen alleen druiven worden gebruikt met een suikergehalte van minstens 14 °NM die zijn geoogst in de geografische eenheid die de geografische aanduiding overeenkomstig dit punt draagt en voor zover die wijn aan de bij de uitvoeringsbepalingen vastgestelde kwaliteitsvoorschriften voldoet. Het gebruik van een naam van een andere geografische eenheid dan die welke in de uitvoeringsbepalingen is vastgesteld, is verboden.

Chapter III lays down the rules on geographical indications in accordance with the international obligations of the EU. The geographical indications presently listed in Regulation No 1601/91 are transferred to the register which is established pursuant to Article 22 of the present Regulation.
In hoofdstuk III worden de voorschriften inzake geografische aanduidingen vastgesteld overeenkomstig de internationale verplichtingen van de EU. De geografische aanduidingen die thans zijn opgenomen in Verordening (EEG) nr. 1601/91 worden opgenomen in het register dat wordt aangelegd krachtens artikel 22 van de onderhavige verordening.

(20) In order to ensure uniform conditions for the implementation of this Regulation with regard to the methods of analysis for determining the composition of aromatised wine products; decisions on conferring protection on geographical indications and on rejecting applications for such protection; decisions on cancelling the protection of geographical indications and of existing geographical designations; decisions on approval of application for amendments in the case of minor amendments to the product specifications; the information to be provided in the product specification with regard to the definition of geographical indication; the means of making decisions on protection or rejection of geographical indications available to the public; relating to the submission of trans-border applications; checks and verifications to be carried out by Member States; the procedure, including admissibility, for the examination of applications for protection or for the approval of an amendment of a geographical indication, and the procedure, including admissibility, for requests for objection, cancellation or conversion and the submission of information relating to existing geographical designations; administrative and physical checks to be carried out by Member States; and rules on providing the information necessary for the application of the provision concerning the exchange of information between Member States and the Commission, the arrangements for the management of the information to be notified , the content, form, timing, frequency and deadlines of the notifications and arrangements for transmitting or making information and documents available to the Member States, the competent authorities in third countries, or the public ; implementing power should be conferred on the Commission.
(20) Teneinde eenvormige voorwaarden voor de tenuitvoerlegging van deze verordening vast te stellen met betrekking tot de analysemethoden waarmee de samenstelling van gearomatiseerde wijnbouwproducten wordt bepaald; besluiten inzake het verlenen van bescherming van geografische aanduidingen of het afwijzen van aanvragen voor zulke bescherming; besluiten inzake het annuleren van de bescherming van geografische aanduidingen en van bestaande geografische benamingen; de beslissingen betreffende de goedkeuring van de uitvoering van wijzigingen in het geval van kleine wijzigingen van productdossiers; de in het productdossier te verstrekken informatie ten aanzien van de definitie van de geografische aanduiding; de manieren waarop besluiten over de goedkeuring of de afwijzing van beschermingsaanvragen voor het publiek beschikbaar worden gemaakt; voorschriften in verband met de indiening van grensoverschrijdende aanvragen; voorschriften betreffende door de lidstaten uit te voeren controles en verificaties ; de procedure, met inbegrip van de ontvankelijkheid, voor het onderzoek van aanvragen tot bescherming van of voor de goedkeuring van een wijziging van een geografische aanduiding, alsook de procedure, met inbegrip van de ontvankelijkheid, voor bezwaarschriften, annulatieaanvragen en omzettingsaanvragen en de indiening van informatie over bestaande geografische benamingen; voorschriften inzake administratieve en fysieke controles vast die de lidstaten moeten verrichten; en voorschriften over de informatieverstrekking die nodig is voor de toepassing van de bepaling over de informatie-uitwisseling tussen de lidstaten en de Commissie, de regelingen voor het beheer van de te verstrekken informatie, alsmede voorschriften betreffende de inhoud en het format van de te verstrekken gegevens en betreffende de termijnen en de frequentie van de informatieverstrekking en regelingen voor het doorzenden van informatie en documenten of voor het beschikbaar stellen van informatie ...

(19) In order to supplement or amend certain non-essential elements of this Regulation, the power to adopt acts in accordance with Article 290 of the TFEU should be delegated to the Commission in respect of the establishment of production processes for obtaining aromatised wine products; criteria for the demarcation of geographical areas and rules, restrictions and derogations related to production in such areas; the conditions under which a product specification may include additional requirements; the determination of the cases in which a single producer may apply for the protection of a geographical indication and the restrictions governing the type of applicant that may apply for such protection; the establishment of the conditions to be complied with in respect of an application for the protection of a geographical indication, scrutiny by the Commission, the objection procedure and procedures for amendment and cancellation of geographical indications; the establishment of the conditions applicable to trans-border applications; the setting of the date for the submission of an application or a request, the date from which the protection applies and the date on which an amendment to a protection applies; the establishment of the conditions relating to amendments to product specifications, including the conditions when an amendment is considered minor and the conditions relating to the applications for, and approval of, amendments, which do not involve any change to the single document; the restrictions regarding the protected name; the nature and type of information to be notified in the exchange of information between Member States and the Commission, the methods of notification, the rules related to the access rights to information or information systems made availableandand the modalities of publication of the information.
(19) Teineinde niet-essentiële onderdelen van deze verordening aan te vullen of te wijzigen, moet de bevoegdheid om handelingen vast te stellen overeenkomstig artikel 290 van het VWEU worden overgedragen aan de Commissie, wat betreft de vaststelling van productieprocessen voor het verkrijgen van gearomatiseerde wijnbouwproducten; criteria betreffende de afbakening van geografische gebieden en regels, beperkingen en afwijkingen betreffende de productie in zulke gebieden; voowaarden waaronder een productdossier aanvullende eisen mag bevatten; gevallen waarin een individuele producent de bescherming van een geografische aanduiding kan aanvragen en beperkingen met betrekking tot het type producent dat zulke bescherming; de vaststelling van de voorwaarden met betrekking tot de beschermingsaanvraag voor een geografische aanduiding, het onderzoek door de Commissie, de bezwaarprocedure en de procedures voor de wijziging en annulering van geografische aanduidingen; de vaststelling van de voorwaarden met betrekking tot grensoverschrijdende aanvragen; het vaststellen van de datum voor indiening van een aanvraag of een verzoek, van de datum waarop de bescherming ingaat en van de datum waarop een wijziging in werking treedt; de vaststelling van de voorwaarden met betrekking tot wijzigingen van het productdossier, met inbegrip van de voorwaarden waaronder een wijziging als minimaal moet worden beschouwd en de voorwaarden met betrekking tot de aanvragen om, en goedkeuring van, wijzigingen die geen verandering van het enig document omvatten; de beperkingen met betrekking tot de beschermde naam; de aard en de soort van de informatie die moet worden verstrekt in de informatieuitwisseling tussen de lidstaten en de Commissie, de wijze van informatieverstrekking, de voorschriften inzake de rechten op toegang tot de beschikbaar gestelde informatie of informatiesystemen en de voorwaarden voor en de wijze van bekendmaking van de informatie.

3. In the case of products originating in the Union, marketed under a protected designation of origin or a protected geographical indication registered in accordance with the procedures laid down in this Regulation, the indications ‘protected designation of origin’ or ‘protected geographical indication’ or the Union symbols associated with them shall appear on the labelling. In addition, the corresponding abbreviations "PDO" or "PGI" may appear on the labelling.
3. Bij de etikettering van producten uit de Unie die in de handel worden gebracht met een volgens de procedures van deze verordening geregistreerde beschermde oorsprongsbenaming of beschermde geografische aanduiding worden de vermeldingen "beschermde oorsprongsbenaming" of "beschermde geografische aanduiding", of de bijbehorende symbolen aangebracht.

The geographical indications at present listed in Annex II to Regulation (EEC) No 1576/89 are taken over in the present regulation, including geographical indications which are presently regulated in the body of Regulation (EEC) No 1576/89 as Grappa, Korn, Pacharan, Ouzo, etc. However, in order to take account of the recent case-law of the Court of Justice, the regulation provides that technical files for these indications are be published within seven years of the entry into force of the regulation.
Geografische aanduidingen die zijn thans opgenomen in bijlage II van Verordening (EEG) nr. 1576/89 worden overgebracht naar de onderhavige verordening, met inbegrip van de geografische aanduidingen die momenteel zijn gereguleerd in het hoofddeel van Verordening (EEG) nr. 1576/89 zoals grappa, korn, pacharan, ouzo, enz. In verband echter met de recente jurisprudentie van het Hof van Justitie, bepaalt de verordening dat technische dossiers in verband met deze aanduidingen binnen 7 jaar na de inwerkingtreding van de verordening openbaar moeten worden gemaakt.
