TRADUCTIONS EN CONTEXTE

The Parties furthermore recommended deleting, in Chapter 1 on ‘Semen’ of Section 1, the previous ‘actions’ for New Zealand exports to the Union and introducing a new ‘action’ requesting the Union to consider reviewing whether testing of semen for infectious bovine rhinotracheitis (IBR) using the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) testing methodology approved by the World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE), which provides an equivalent assurance to IBR disease freedom.
Daarnaast bevalen de partijen aan om in afdeling 1, hoofdstuk 1 („Sperma”) de vorige „maatregelen” voor uitvoer uit Nieuw-Zeeland naar de Unie te schrappen en een nieuwe „maatregel” in te voeren, op basis waarvan de Unie moet evalueren of het testen van sperma op infectueuze boviene rhinotracheïtis (IBR) met de testmethode die gebaseerd is op polymerasekettingreactie (PCR), als goedgekeurd door de Wereldorganisatie voor diergezondheid (OIE), een gelijkwaardige waarborg biedt dat het sperma IBR-vrij is.
