1. Periodic inspections of the equipment fitted to vehicles must take place after any repair of the equipment or after any alteration of the characteristic coefficient of the vehicle or of the effective circumference of the tyres or at least once within two years of the last inspection; they may be carried out in conjunction with roadworthiness tests on vehicles.

Periodieke controles van de in de voertuigen geïnstalleerde apparaten moeten na iedere reparatie van het apparaat of na iedere wijziging van de kenmerkende coëfficiënt van het voertuig of van de effectieve omtrek der wielbanden of ten minste om de twee jaar na de laatste controle worden uitgevoerd en dit mag onder meer plaatsvinden in het kader van de technische inspecties van auto's.
