IN-CONTEXT TRANSLATIONS

This sets out requirements concerning the construction, installation and use of recording equipment (tachograph) that must be fitted in the vehicles that fall within the scope of this regulation.

1. This Regulation sets out the obligations and requirements for in relation to the construction, installation, use and , testing of recording equipment and control of tachographs used in road transport to control compliance with Regulation (EC) No 561/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 15 March 2006 on the harmonisation of certain social legislation relating to road transport , Directive 2002/15/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 11 March 2002 on the organisation of the working time of persons performing mobile road transport activities and Council Directive 92/6/EEC of 10 February 1992 on the installation and use of speed limitation devices for certain categories of motor vehicles in the Community .

Deze verordening bepaalt verplichtingen en de voorschriften voor met betrekking tot de constructie, de installatie, het gebruik en , het testen en de controle van controleapparaten tachografen die in het wegvervoer die worden gebruikt om de naleving te controleren van Verordening (EG) nr. 561/2006 van het Europees Parlement en de Raad van 15 maart 2006 tot harmonisatie van bepaalde voorschriften van sociale aard voor het wegvervoer , Richtlijn 2002/15/EG van het Europees Parlement en de Raad van 11 maart 2002 betreffende de organisatie van de arbeidstijd van personen die mobiele werkzaamheden in het wegvervoer uitoefenen en Richtlijn 92/6/EEG van de Raad van 10 februari 1992 betreffende de installatie en het gebruik, in de Gemeenschap, van snelheidsbegrenzers in bepaalde categorieën motorvoertuigen .

2. Recording equipment Tachographs shall, as regards construction, installation, use and testing, comply with the requirements of this Regulation.
2. De constructie, de installatie, het gebruik en het testen van controleapparaten tachografen dient aan de voorschriften van deze verordening te voldoen.

This Regulation sets out requirements for the construction, installation, use and testing of recording equipment used in road transport to control compliance with Regulation (EC) No 561/2006, Directive 2002/15/EC and Directive 92/6/EEC.
Deze verordening bepaalt de voorschriften voor de constructie, de installatie, het gebruik en het testen van controleapparaten in het wegvervoer die worden gebruikt om de naleving van Verordening (EG) nr. 561/2006, Richtlijn 2002/15/EG en Richtlijn 92/6/EEG te controleren.

2.- Requirements: In Chapter I “Principles, scope and requirements” articles setting out the essential requirements for the construction, installation, use, check and control of tachograph, as well as functions of the tachograph, data to be recorded, principles about access rights and data protection have been included in order for the enacting part of the Regulation to provide for the basis for the specifications to be developed by the Commission through delegated acts.
2.- Voorschriften: In hoofdstuk I "Beginselen, toepassingsgebied en voorschriften" zijn artikelen opgenomen die de fundamentele voorschriften voor de constructie, installatie, het gebruik en de controle van de tachograaf vastleggen; ook zijn de functies van de tachograaf, te registreren gegevens, beginselen voor toegangsrechten en gegevensbescherming opgenomen voor het dispositief van de verordening om de basis te leggen voor de door de Commissie te ontwikkelen specificaties door middel van gedelegeerde handelingen.

Recording equipment within the meaning of this Regulation shall, as regards construction, installation, use and testing, comply with the requirements of this Regulation and of Annexes I and II thereto, which shall form an integral part of this Regulation.
Het controleapparaat in de zin van deze verordening moet ten aanzien van zijn constructie-, installatie-, gebruiks- en controle-eisen voldoen aan de voorschriften van deze verordening, met inbegrip van de bijlagen I en II.
