Expects, with a view to the forthcoming work on revising the Integrated Guidelines, to see a joint process of reflection between the EU institutions concerned and proposes an inter-institutional working party to be established after the Spring 2007 European Council; recommends the following aspects for improving implementation of the EU reform agenda for discussion and reflection:

Underlines the pivotal role of the European Parliament's external information offices in disseminating information about the Institution in Member States as well as collating public reaction and response; believes that the launching of the public debate on the future of Europe makes this a matter of urgency; notes that the sharing of premises with the Commission, joint implementation of the PRINCE programme and the inter-institutional working party on information facilitate cost-savings which can be used to improve performance; asks to be kept informed of the work of the interinstitutional working group on information;

In order to assist it in the development, implementation and monitoring of EURES activities, the EURES Coordination Office shall institute a Working Party composed of EURES managers, each one representing a EURES member.

3. The Working Party on the Protection of Individuals with regard to the Processing of Personal Data instituted by Article 29 of Directive 95/46/EC shall also carry out the tasks laid down in Article 30 of that Directive with regard to matters covered by this Directive, namely the protection of fundamental rights and freedoms and of legitimate interests in the electronic communications sector.
3. De Groep voor de bescherming van personen in verband met de verwerking van persoonsgegevens, ingesteld bij artikel 29 van Richtlijn 95/46/EG, voert de in artikel 30 van die richtlijn vermelde taken ook uit ten aanzien van aangelegenheden die onder de onderhavige richtlijn vallen, namelijk de bescherming van de fundamentele rechten en vrijheden en van rechtmatige belangen in de sector elektronische communicatie.

As is pointed out in the above-mentioned Commission paper on fighting terrorism, there are good arguments to improve the coordination of counter-terrorism activities inside the EU institutions (following the good example of the EU compendium of threat assessments written by TWG and COTER, or common meetings of these two working parties) and to reinforce the role of the Terrorism Working Group in preparing EU policy-making.
Zoals in bovengenoemd document van de Commissie over terrorismebestrijding al is gezegd, zijn er goede redenen om de coördinatie van de activiteiten inzake terrorismebestrijding binnen de EU-instellingen te verbeteren (naar het goede voorbeeld van het door TWG en COTER opgestelde EU-compendium van risicoanalyses of de gezamenlijke vergaderingen van deze twee werkgroepen) en de Werkgroep Terrorisme een grotere rol te laten spelen bij de voorbereiding van het EU-beleid.

A Working Party on the Protection of Individuals with regard to the Processing of Personal Data is set up, composed of representatives of the national supervisory authorities, representatives of the supervisory authorities of the Community institutions and bodies, and a representative of the Commission.
Er wordt een Groep voor de bescherming van personen in verband met de verwerking van persoonsgegevens ingesteld die bestaat uit vertegenwoordigers van de nationale toezichthoudende autoriteiten, vertegenwoordigers van de voor de communautaire instellingen en organen opgerichte autoriteiten en een vertegenwoordiger van de Commissie.
