Recalls that the fair and transparent distribution of funding between the different objectives of the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund was a priority for Parliament during negotiations leading to the adoption of that fund; calls on the Commission accordingly to increase the number of budget lines under the Asylum Migration and Integration Fund to facilitate a better readability and transparency of how the financial resources allocated to the different objectives and thus to those budgetary lines will be spent; calls, in particular, on the Commission to separate expenditure on enhancing fair and effective return strategies from expenditure on legal migration and promoting the effective integration of third-country nationals in all future draft budgets;
12. brengt in herinnering dat de billijke en transparante verdeling van de beschikbare middelen over de diverse doelstellingen van het Fonds voor asiel, migratie en integratie voor het Parlement een van de prioriteiten was tijdens de onderhandelingen die hebben geleid tot de instelling van dat fonds; verzoekt de Commissie derhalve het aantal begrotingsonderdelen die vallen onder het Fonds voor asiel, migratie en integratie te verhogen ter vergroting van het inzicht in en de transparantie van de wijze waarop de financiële middelen over de verschillende doelstellingen en dus ook over die begrotingsonderdelen worden verdeeld en gespendeerd; verzoekt de Commissie met name in alle toekomstige ontwerpbegrotingen een onderscheid te maken tussen de uitgaven die bestemd zijn ter bevordering van billijke en doeltreffende terugkeerstrategieën en de uitgaven voor legale migratie en het bevorderen van de effectieve integratie van onderdanen van derde landen;

In order to contribute to the development of the common Union policy on asylum and immigration and to the strengthening of the area of freedom, security and justice in the light of the application of the principles of solidarity and responsibility-sharing between the Member States and cooperation with third countries, this Regulation should establish the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (‘the Fund’).
Om bij te dragen tot de ontwikkeling van een gemeenschappelijk asiel- en immigratiebeleid van de Unie en de versterking van de ruimte van vrijheid, veiligheid en recht, met inachtneming van de beginselen van solidariteit en verdeling van verantwoordelijkheid tussen de lidstaten en samenwerking met derde landen, dient bij deze verordening het Fonds voor asiel, migratie en integratie te worden opgericht (hierna „het Fonds” genoemd).
