2. This Regulation shall not affect the continuation or modification, including the total or partial cancellation, of the projects concerned, until their closure, or of assistance approved by the Commission on the basis of Regulations (EC) No 2328/2003, (EC) No 861/2006, (EC) No 1198/2006, (EC) No 791/2007 and (EU) No 1255/2011 and Article 103 of Regulation (EC) No 1224/2009 or any other legislation applying to that assistance on 31 December 2013, which shall continue to apply to such projects or assistance.

1. Common projects may assist the successful implementation of the ATM Master Plan Ö may be supported by common projects Õ. Such Ö These Õ projects shall support the objectives of this Regulation to improve the performance of the European aviation system in key areas such as capacity, flight and cost efficiency as well as environmental sustainability, within the overriding safety objectives. ð The common projects shall aim to deploy in a timely, coordinated and synchronised manner ATM functionalities to achieve the essential operational changes identified in the ATM Master Plan ï.

Calls on the Member States to endow decision-making bodies with the powers necessary to secure complex and development-oriented EU funding supporting good local initiatives and responding to the diverse local needs of the Roma people; stresses the importance of identifying and exchanging good practices with regard to Roma integration and of increasing the visibility of the success stories; also calls for the development of institutional capacity to provide necessary assistance (administrative and project management assistance) at local level;

Calls on the Commission to issue a communication on this matter outlining in detail how it is strengthening its efforts in favour of projects to assist the victims of anti-personnel mines or unexploded ordnance (primary care or social and economic reintegration projects) and by what means it is encouraging the third countries concerned to set up a national policy for the assistance of these victims;
5. verzoekt de Commissie een mededeling op te stellen met gedetailleerde informatie over de wijze waarop zij haar inspanningen voor projecten voor hulp aan slachtoffers van anti-personenmijnen of niet-geëxplodeerde munitie (noodhulp of sociaal-economische integratieprojecten) opschroeft, en op welke wijze zij de betrokken derde landen aanspoort tot het ontwikkelen van een nationaal beleid voor deze slachtoffers;
