According to the application the use of extracts of rosemary (E 392) is required to keep the quality and stability of spreadable fats with a fat content less than 80 % where content of polyunsaturated fatty acids is higher than 15 % w/w of the total fatty acid and/or where content of fish oil or algal oil is higher than 2 % w/w of the total fatty acid by protecting them against deterioration caused by oxidation.
Volgens de aanvraag is het gebruik van extracten van rozemarijn (E 392) nodig om, door bescherming tegen bederf door oxidatie, de kwaliteit en de stabiliteit te bewaren van smeerbare vetproducten met een vetgehalte van minder dan 80 % waarin het aandeel meervoudig onverzadigde vetzuren hoger is dan 15 % m/m van het totale vetzuurgehalte en/of waarin het aandeel visolie of algenolie hoger is dan 2 % m/m van het totale vetzuurgehalte.
