2. This Protocol shall enter into force for a State or regional economic integration organization that ratifies, accepts or approves this Protocol or accedes thereto after the deposit of the fiftieth instrument as referred to in paragraph 1 above, on the ninetieth day after the date on which that State or regional economic integration organization deposits its instrument of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession, or on the date on which the Convention enters into force for that State or regional economic integration organization, whichever shall be the later.
2. Voor een staat of regionale organisatie voor economische integratie die dit protocol bekrachtigt, aanvaardt of goedkeurt dan wel daartoe toetreedt na de nederlegging van de vijftigste akte als bedoeld in lid 1, treedt dit protocol in werking op de negentigste dag na de datum waarop die staat of regionale organisatie voor economische integratie zijn of haar akte van bekrachtiging, aanvaarding, goedkeuring of toetreding heeft nedergelegd of op de datum waarop het verdrag voor die staat of regionale organisatie voor economische integratie in werking treedt, indien deze datum later valt.

As underlined in the Communication from the Commission to the European Parliament and to the Council, the European Economic and Social Committee and the Committee of the Regions on agricultural product quality policy[11], organic production forms part of the Union's agricultural product quality schemes together with geographical indications, traditional specialties guaranteed and products of the outermost regions of the Union, as laid down in Regulation (EU) No 1151/2012 of the European Parliament and of the Council[12] and Regulation (EU) No 228/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council[13], respectively.

Finally, the organic production scheme forms part of the Union's agricultural product quality schemes together with geographical indications, traditional specialities guaranteed, and products of the EU's outermost regions and mountain areas as underlined in the Communication from the Commission to the European Parliament and to the Council, the European Economic and Social Committee and the Committee of the Regions on agricultural product quality policy and indicated in Regulation (EU) No 1151/2012 of the European Parliament and of the Council on quality schemes[8].

2. This Supplementary Protocol shall enter into force for a State or regional economic integration organization that ratifies, accepts or approves it or accedes thereto after the deposit of the fortieth instrument as referred to in paragraph 1 above, on the ninetieth day after the date on which that State or regional economic integration organization deposits its instrument of ratification, acceptance, approval, or accession, or on the date on which the Protocol enters into force for that State or regional economic integration organization, whichever shall be the later.

Voor een staat of regionale organisatie voor economische integratie die dit aanvullend protocol bekrachtigt, aanvaardt of goedkeurt dan wel daartoe toetreedt na de nederlegging van de veertigste akte als bedoeld in lid 1, treedt dit aanvullend protocol in werking op de negentigste dag na de datum waarop die staat of regionale organisatie voor economische integratie zijn of haar akte van bekrachtiging, aanvaarding, goedkeuring of toetreding heeft nedergelegd of op de datum waarop het protocol voor die staat of regionale organisatie voor economische integratie in werking treedt, indien deze datum later valt.

41. Is convinced that a highly effective way of increasing organ availability is to provide more information to the public also at the local and regional level; calls on the Commission, the Member States and the organisations of civil society, churches, religious and humanist communities to take part in this effort to raise public awareness of the possibility of organ donation whilst taking into account the cultural particularities of each Member State; underlines the important role played by registered donors in promoting organ donation among family members and friends and encouraging them to become donors themselves;
41. is ervan overtuigd dat een zeer doeltreffende manier om de beschikbaarheid van organen te vergroten bestaat uit het geven van meer voorlichting aan het publiek, ook op lokaal en regionaal niveau; roept de Commissie, de lidstaten en maatschappelijke organisaties, kerken en religieuze en humanistische organisaties op bij te dragen aan deze inspanning om het publieke bewustzijn te verhogen met betrekking tot de mogelijkheid van orgaandonatie, en daarbij rekening te houden met de culturele bijzonderheden van de afzonderlijke lidstaten; beklemtoont dat voor geregistreerde donoren een belangrijke rol is weggelegd bij familie en vrienden orgaandonatie te promoten en hen aan te sporen om ook donor te worden;

34. Recalls that a number of regional cooperation mechanisms are already in place in the Black Sea area; underlines, therefore, the need for the EU and the Black Sea countries to coordinate activities and prevent duplication of effort; considers that strengthening the various regional organisations and initiatives, such as the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC), the Black Sea Forum for Partnership and Dialogue, the GUAM Organization for Democracy and Economic Development and other sectoral organisations, according to their specific expertise, and strengthening cooperation with them, possibly in the framework of a new structure, could provide an appropriate framework for creating synergies; believes that the political dimension of the dialogue and cooperation with and within the Black Sea region should also be further developed;
34. herinnert aan het feit dat er al een aantal regionale samenwerkingsmechanismen bestaan in het Zwarte-Zeegebied; onderstreept daarom dat het nodig is dat de EU en de landen aan de Zwarte Zee hun activiteiten coördineren en dubbel werk voorkomen; is van mening dat het versterken van de samenwerking met de diverse regionale organisaties en initiatieven, zoals de Organisatie voor Economische Samenwerking in het Zwarte-Zeegebied (BSEC), het Zwarte Zeeforum voor Partnerschap en Dialoog, de Organisatie voor democratie en economische ontwikkeling van GUAM en andere regionale organisaties, volgens hun specifieke expertise, en mogelijk binnen een nieuwe structuur, een passend kader kan leveren waarbinnen samenwerking kan worden gestimuleerd; is van mening dat ook de politieke dimensie van de dialoog en de samenwerking met en binnen het Zwarte-Zeegebied verder dient te worden ontwikkeld;

de ontwikkeling van een interne markt voor biologische voedings- en niet-voedingsproducten zal leiden tot de standaardisering van hun productiemethoden, terwijl er uiteraard rekening wordt gehouden met hun specifieke eigenschappen en traditionele regionale productiemethoden, dat deze ontwikkeling zal bijdragen tot de harmonisatie van de controles en van de werking van de nationale instellingen voor de certificatie van biologische producten, alsmede tot het wegnemen van hindernissen voor de handel en tot volledigere voorlichting aan de Europese consument; is ook van mening dat het logo van de Gemeenschap moet worden aangevuld met informatie over de plaatselijke en regionale herkomst van de producten;
