...[+++]nt initiatives on Lead Markets, Standards and Clusters by the end of 2007; RECALLING the importance of continuing the consultation process with the stakeholders in the drawing-up of the Lead markets initiative, as stated in the Council conclusions on innovation of December 2006; STRESSING that the processes of simplification and improvement of the regulatory environment and reduction of the administrative burden on enterprises, such as the CARS 21 initiative, remains a high priority, particularly since they are of great importance to SMEs; POINTING out the initiative on sustainable industrial policy and inviting the Commission to draw up a complementary Action Plan to promote sustainable production and consumption, while fostering synergies with the proposed Strategic Energy Technology Plan for the EU and the ongoing Environmental Technologies Action Plan and taking into account the impact on the international competitiveness of the EU industries, especially of Energy Intensive Industries; BEVESTIGT dat de initiatieven betreffende de externe dimensie van concurrentievermogen en markttoegang, alsmede betreffende de duurzame toegang tot natuurlijke rijkdommen en grondstoffen een cruciale rol spelen bij het verbeteren van de globale industriële prestaties en het concurrentievermogen van de EU; IS VAN OORDEEL het feit dat het initiatief inzake structurele verandering erop gericht moet zijn voordeel te halen uit de snelle groei van bepaalde hoogtechnologische sectoren, en dat het initiatief betreffende de koppeling tussen industrie en diensten erop gericht moet zijn de kwaliteit, de productiviteit en de meerwaarde die door de diensten, met name de kennisintensieve zakelijke diensten, aan de industrie wordt verleend, te verbeteren
...[+++]; IS VERHEUGD OVER het voornemen van de Commissie om vóór eind 2007 initiatieven in te dienen over leidende markten, normen en clusters; HERINNERT aan het belang van de voortzetting van het overleg met de belanghebbenden bij het opstellen van het leidende-marktinitiatief, overeenkomstig de conclusies van de Raad van december 2006 betreffende innovatie; BENADRUKT dat het proces van Vereenvoudiging en verbetering van het regelgevingskader en vermindering van de administratieve lasten voor ondernemingen zoals het initiatief CARS 21, een hoge prioriteit blijft, met name omdat het van groot belang is voor kmo's; WIJST OP het initiatief inzake een duurzaam industriebeleid en verzoekt de Commissie een aanvullend actieplan op te stellen om duurzame productie en consumptie in de EU te bevorderen, en tegelijkertijd synergieën met het voorgestelde Strategisch Plan voor Energietechnologie voor de EU en het lopende Actieplan inzake Milieutechnologieën te bevorderen en rekening te houden met het effect op het internationale concurrentievermogen van de EU-industrieën, met name van de energie-intensieve industrieën;
