23. Acknowledges that in order to alleviate agencies' reporting burden, the Commission has anticipated that according to the new FFR, agencies will be allowed to provide the information currently requested in different contexts in a streamlined and consolidated way with the aim of ensuring better consistency and comparability between the documents produced by the various agencies; notes that Commission services are working with agencies to define guidelines for the a template for consolidated annual activity reports adapted to the requirements set by the new FFR and calls on the Commission to ensure that consolidated reporting results in simplification and reduction of the administrative burden;

Each EU country also has a central body that is responsible for supplying information to the agencies, resolving any difficulties that may arise and forwarding requests for service by the transmitting agency to the relevant receiving agency in exceptional circumstances.

4. A receiving agency receiving a document for service but not having territorial jurisdiction to serve it shall forward it, as well as the request, to the receiving agency having territorial jurisdiction in the same Member State if the request complies with the conditions laid down in Article 4(3) and shall inform the transmitting agency accordingly, using the standard form in the Annex.
4. Een ontvangende instantie die een stuk ontvangt maar voor de betekening of kennisgeving ervan niet territoriaal bevoegd is, zendt het stuk, evenals de aanvraag, aan de bevoegde ontvangende instantie in dezelfde lidstaat door indien de aanvraag aan de in artikel 4, lid 3, bedoelde voorwaarden voldoet en stelt de verzendende instantie daarvan door middel van het modelformulier in de bijlage in kennis.
